Beginner Violin Classes
Renaissance School of the Arts is pleased to offer group beginner violin classes for children ages 4-5, led by instructor Caitlin McQuaite.
Please note that each child is to be accompanied by a parent or caregiver for these classes, and is expected to have a violin on which to practice. If you don't yet have an instrument or need assistance finding one, please contact us - we're happy to help.
These beginner violin classes will address the different aspects of developing and maintaining good technique and habits for playing the violin, building from the ground up. The step-by-step approach enables learning through songs and games that the child can practice at home, with the help of his or her parent. This approach provides the necessary foundation for playing at the very highest levels, while teaching children to work together with others. These classes are offered at several points throughout the year. See below for starting dates.
SCHEDULE
Classes will take place on Wednesday afternoons from 1:30 - 2:15pm
